in a Log Cabin, in the Wilds of NW Montana?

Are You a Wilderness Person? Someone who finds their Spirit renewed by the sound of Silence, a time for Solitude, and an Inner Peace.  This just might be the place you have been looking for a very long time ... Off Grid Cabin B&B LLC is a beautiful level twenty acre land parcel that borders the Kootenai National Forest (which includes the "Western Larch Wild and Scenic Area") on it's North and East boundaries!! This Off Grid Cabin is located in the Yaak Valley, surrounded by the Purcell Mountains ... part of the Rocky Mountains!

This Bed and Breakfast Cabin has a Master Suite that sleeps 2 Adults with your own Bathroom with an lovely antique bathtub ... in the "shared" Bathroom you can take a shower if desired :). The size of the Master Suite is (12'Wx26'L). The Cabin is decorated in a Western Theme. The Bed and Breakfast cabin is for kids 12 years of age or older and adults. The Bed and Breakfast Cabin is NOT equipped for handicapped people. No pet are allowed. No tobacco or alcohol are allowed either.

You must book at entire weekend ... The Bed and Breakfast cabin is available three nights ... Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (checkout is Monday by noon) from February through September ... Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend are available Friday through Tuesday morning (4 nights).

October and November is Hunting Season and the Bed & Breakfast Cabin is available four nights ... from Thursday afternoon check-in until check-out on Monday by noon ... You must book the entire weekend!! There is no hunting on the 20 acres, but the property is bordered on two sides of the Kootenai National Forest where you can hunt with a Montana Hunting License.

The Home Cooked  Breakfast provided for two can be adjusted to anyone's diet who has food issues!

The Great Room is the Living Room, Dining Room, and Kitchen that is the Common Area. It has a free-standing wood stove that provides you with heat during those cooler days! Electricity and Internet (Starlink) are provided by a Solar System or gas generator, and water is provided by a drilled well with great tasting glacier water!

One of the best features of the Log Cabin is the Covered Front Porch ... it is 42'Lx8'W ... which in the warmer weather is great to sit out on the porch to drink your coffee or tea as the sun comes up over Grubstake and Wood Mountain. The Chipmunks like to visit you on the Front Porch, and are happy when you share some Cheerios with them!! ... sometimes the Ground Squirrels, Camp Robbers (gray jays) and Chickadees visit too ... one can also watch the deer come onto the "island" to lick the mineral block!

There are several wilderness activities that one can do in the Yaak Valley which is home to the Yaak River. The Cabin is not far from the beautiful North Fork of the Yaak River, and has a short trail that follows the Yaak River into Canada!! People who love the scenery can enjoy it by hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobile trails. BRING YOUR CAMERA to photograph the scenery and wildlife ... deer, elk, moose, bears (grizzly and black), cougars, lynx, wolves, coyotes, geese, ducks, eagles (bald and golden) ... and a lot more critters! 

Each person should have Bear Spray on them during any outdoor activities!! 

You are being advised that in the months of February, March, October, and November to have a vehicle that has 4WD ... the weather is unpredictable with the amount of snow and temperatures during those months when driving!
